Top 10 most beautiful beaches in Mexico

Mexico has almost 10,000 kilometers of coastline, and therefore, infinity of beautiful beaches. Some are classified among the most beautiful in the world. And it is that Mexicans are terribly darlings in question of beaches. In el Caribe, the color intensity turquoise, the reef and Mayan culture; in the Gulf, the coasts of Tampico and green of Veracruz, and intensity of Tabasco and Yucatan. In the Costa Oeste, from Chiapas to Baja California, incredible sunsets, waves for surfing and the passage of gray whales and dolphins. For all this make a list with the best beaches is almost painful and also very subjective. And sure I’ve forgotten from the beach more recondite, the prettiest.

For those who prefer the crowds, Mexico has several of the most visited beaches in the world. Manzanillo, in Colima that receives half a million visitors each year, Mazatlan, Sinaloa, and Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco, receive more than a million and a half visitors, and Cancun and Cozumel in Quintana Roo, and Acapulco in Guerrero, which are visited for more than 2 million people every year.

Personally, I prefer the quieter beaches, or at least those that are more beautiful in terms of nature. Here are some of my favorites.

Tulum, Quintana RooTulum-Beach,-Mexico

One of the stars of the Caribbean is Tulum. The white sand and turquoise waters would not be as wonderful without Maya el templo looming on the horizon.
