Heightened Security from Border to Rocky Point
As we were coming back from Phoenix, there was a check point by the Marines on both sides of the highway, a little less than half-way to Rocky Point. The officer said that the military is going to start doing routine checks to make sure the road from Rocky Point to the border is the safest it can be!
Also, there is a detour in Sonoyta to get to the border. They are fixing the road!
