Soldier’s Estuary is a little 180 acre coast lagoon less than 10 km Southeast of San Carlos Bay. It’s beach, San Francisco Bay, is one of the most beautiful in the region. Every year, along with the wind an climate variations, many birds arrive after long trips looking for shelter from the cold winters from the North of Continent.

At dawn, before a violet colored sky, you can hear the suttle sound water. Later in the day, when the tides rises, millions of snails seek shelter and huge red crabs climb appear where little salt crystals are deposited and reflect the glow of the water under the sun.
During july nights, the moon lights the land that was conquered by the sea, the tide overreaches the limits set by its own nature. The silent nights intwines with the pacific rebelliousness of El Soldado. In the wee hours of the morning, its figure is shielded by the hill, the good guardian of this paradise.
A visit to Soldier’s Estuary is to become a self accomplice, for allowing yourself to enjoy the peace of nature, to contemplate the simple beauty of life and feel the tranquil energy of this protected natural site.
Soldier’s Estuary is a beautiful, whimsical landscape, with pink mountains, aquamarine waters, fine sand and incredible natural wonders. It invites us to its secret nooks by the hills and desert vegetation, channels bordered by mangrove swamps, home to hundreds of birds. For its easy access, Soldier’s Estuary can be a fun walk, bike or kayak ride. Live its peaceful silence with your respectful presence.
