The Center for Technological Sea Studies and Aqua Culture is an aquarium exhibit that provides an up close look at the native species of the inter-tidal zone and the northern gulf coast. Here, you can watch octopus, sea horses, shrimp, and a large variety of fish species. You are also able to feed the Sea Turtles and Sea Lions (squid and fish available to purchase). You can also pay $10 and go inside the tank and hand feed the Sea Lions up close and personal. It’s like a miniature Sea World, but for a whole lot less $$. CET-MAR Aquarium is located at 43 Las Conchas Road, just before you enter the main guard gate for Las Conchas. Schools, families, tours, individuals and groups are welcome.

Visiting hours are:
Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM ? 2:30 PM;
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Prices ”usually” are $2 for children and $3 for adults.

Pinacate is a large nature reserve with several extinct volcanic craters, a large lava flow, cinder cone volcanoes and vast sand dunes. Register at the park headquarters, about 6 miles off the main highway on a dirt road.

The Pinacate Reserves Information Center is located just off Highway# 8, at milepost # Km 52, just 32 miles south of Lukeville, Arizona. (Between Sonoyta & Puerto Peñasco, Mexico – Next to the Ejido’s Los Nortenos & Nayarit)
